PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME TO PREPARE FOR THE WORLD MARATHON CHALLENGE
I will build a personalised training programme to get you to and around World Marathon Challenge. Running 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents is a massive challenge on the body and mind. I’ve done it twice and I hold the female record of fastest average time.
You get:
Introductory conversation with a talk about goals, motivation, resources, previous training, etc.
Overall training plan continuously uploaded online at TrainingPeaks
Presentation of strength program organised according to level and ambition
Possibility of 30 min monthly telephone or Zoom meeting
Advice for selecting equipment
Full depth race walk through
Race strategy for each marathon
Closed Facebook group for other athletes training or has been training for same event or another multi stage race
Acces to our Danish physio therapist if you get injured (video call or email)
Cheering and motivation on race week through WhatsApp or Messenger (I’ll be ready on the phone any time)

Kristina Schou Madsen
Bachelor Degree in Information Science and sport science from Copenhagen University and the University of Southerne Denmark. Kristina has furthermore studied philosophy and is also educated as a teacher.
Kristina has won several multi stage races all over the world and is the current world record holder of fastest climb of Mt Kilimanjaro. She has participated twice in the World Marathon Challenge and holds the record of fastest female average time on running 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents.
Henrik Taarsted
Associate professor of teacher education in Aarhus, PhD in sport science and former participant at the World Championships in Ironman in Hawaii and winner of Xterra Aarhus. Henrik is our physiological training nerd and is always up to date with the latest training theory.
Henrik is only taking in Danish athletes at the moment.
Josephine Dewett
Studying sports at the University of Southern Denmark and soon ready with the thesis. Josephine is also a trained physiotherapist, where she specialises in personal training. She is an active trail runner and has a background as a sub-elite orientering runner and adventure racer. She is our expert in injuries and their prevention.
